Bachelor of Education

The Department of Education is one of the leading departments of Atish Dipankar University of Science & Technology. The department started its journey in 2008 under the faculty of Arts and Social Science, for the teachers of primary, secondary and higher secondary levels of education as well as for the educators.

For the Regular Students, 36 credits are needed to accomplish the B.Ed program at this department

The Department of Education has been imparting quality and scholastic education for which it anchored the scholar like former DG, NAEM; Project Director, Female Stipend Project; and Director, Monitoring and Evaluation Wing, DSHE. Besides, some foreign students of India, Malaysia, and Zimbabwe have been pursuing their B.Ed and M.Ed degree because of its best teaching forces and modern international standard course curriculum. Moreover, the number of students is increasing day by day because of quality teachers, permanent campus, modern and digital library, high bandwidth Wi-Fi facility, etc.

Medium of instruction of the program is English/Bengali.

Candidates having a university degree with minimum 05 points are eligible for the admission.

A student may transfer a maximum of 25 credits for B.Ed earned at previously attended ersatzes to receive  degree from ADUST. Transcripts from all previously attended institutions must be submitted to receive such benefits. The decision on the eligibility of such transfer is vested with the Director/Chair of the academic program in which the admission is being sought. ADUST will not calculate CGPA based on any previously earned credits to offer the degree.

The duration of the study, Bachelor of education (B.Ed) in the department of education will be a one year program. The total program period is divided into three Semesters as follows:
